Prayer for the Church in Oklahoma
O God, you never cease to gather a people to yourself so that all nations might come to salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. We praise you for the gift of your Church in this land of Oklahoma, first established by the Benedictine Monks 150 years ago. We humbly ask that you send forth the divine gift of the Holy Spirit upon each parish and mission, its pastor and ministries, that, united in love, they will become ever more effective signs and instruments of the saving presence of Christ in our world, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
